I was told to always know my enemies
to know them as I know myself
so I became one, consumed their food
breathed their stars produce of alien air
combusted my intake
made rid of my waste

I stood in their playgrounds of learning
practised the art of something called love
found no happy medium there to recount
so I slipped away by midnight's moon
still studying their particular ways
and the very strange things they say

This recon was a waste of time
mostly harmless is what they are
just mostly harmless
lets keep it that way
