The city of steel breaks backs with it's burden
stale is the air that circulates this citadel
fleeting of time and space is at a premium
sad faces hollow, all with numbers not names

These cities in clouds of filthy smog
that could even make a rodent retch
hold those within to the untruths of life
given all that dwell here a taste of living Hell

I myself have gone to some of these coastal hell holes
watched them pump disease into browning seas
plastic mixed with detritus, chemicals abundant
then shed tears form the death of the seas it brings

Stay in your backyard sessions of books of lies
strangle hopes puppies where traitors do apply
put all that care for them
encapsulated in a vial of sin
