i looked back in my memory to the texas plain
where we loved to go time and time again
camping in a tent beneath the moon so bright
flames from the fire lighting up the night

pick up my guitar  play a song or two
in the fire glow sing a song to you
have a glass wine beneath the stars above
in the in our favourite place where we first found love

all these things i remember will stay a part of me
when i think of you these memories i will see
missing you so much wishing you were here again
sharing  love again on the texas plain
