The waves beckon in whispers,
A hymn of salt and silence.
I met the ocean like a forgotten dream,
Where footsteps dissolve
Before they learn to stay.

Depth calls without languageβ€”
I loosen my name, let it drift.
The sun folds into its own flame,
And I kiss the fading light goodbye.

If the shore remembers me,
I will forget how to breathe.
Time unravels quietly,
And breath becomes a feather
Lost between tides.

Songs I never sang
Are carved in the hush beneath my ribs.
Tomorrow is a door unhingedβ€”
I slip through its seam,
Unseen.
