The anguish of her loss
that was within
the pain of his birth
now was ten fold

To the flag he had flown
to a nations call
proud and dignified
yet now he did fall

Flag drapes flickering
over his oak coffin
his mother cries
with tears in her eyes

Another warrior
another child
lost in glory
another child

For the flag
for the flag
another child
of glory
