Little particles of death
these little plastic perils
everyday an unrelenting march
to coast to meet the sea

Most are your convenience holders
your shopping trolley puppies
which in the end are discarded
condemned trash for dumps there be

Watch the mountain of bags decay
turn into slurry and on their way
their unfortunate mission
to suffocate oceanic life

Our seas are becoming plastic soup
choking life in the blue
to a desolate lonely
plastic death
