Having been led down
the garden path
there he was
sitting in the shed
potting plants.

And we've all been down that road
haven't we
or is it just me?

Tea
said to himself
because he was on his own

and though he had no inclination to stir
he stirred the cup
took a biscuit from the tin
dipped in and took another one
nearly gone he thought
time I went and bought some more
but the superstore was miles away
and it being such a sunny day
he thought
*** it
it'll wait.
