i saw an angel fly on a christmas night
high up the sky beneath the moon so bright
with her angels wings she hovered in the air
all around the stars flying everywhere

played upon her harp  a christma lullaby
sitting on a cloud in the moonlit sky
took by breath away as she sang to me
her lovely angel song with such a lovely melody

never believed in angels now think i do
maybe i will meet one when im angel to
flying through the sky way up high above
