Not having left this land in twenty years
You'd think I'd be happy on home soil
Not watching my daily news
Almost, everyday, holding back my tears
Somehow living in fear
As these Governments wear us down
Speeding into an abyss
Grinding through the wrong gears
For the people that I live with
The country that we now live in
Tragically on a slow decline
From a once Great Britain
Now into a perilous time
Homesick
