Walks the country road at dawn

Thru the fields toward yonder mountain

Every body knows something

Everybody does

Been to school

A teacher he

Watered youth with wisdom's power

Now he wanders alone

Seeking peace

Solitude

Yet the mountain has a majesty

A magic a mythology

A monastery amidst time

Last night he slept by yonder stream

He dreamed he'd rescue all tomorrows

He dreamed he free all nature's  strength

Make it our own

He walks the country road

He's going home at last he knows

He knows the dawn and he is here
