You can't run from your past
Knowing what done was wrong
Looking over your shoulder every time
Always wondering, but just for how long
Sometimes in life we dig our own grave
With words, with action, with how we behave
So watch what you say, as sometimes we ponder
When those past discrepancies
Could be put to sleep, and make us feel stronger
