When it all reaches the straight and the narrow

Of all human creation

That could ever be

And be known there by all intellect

From all existences

That could ever exist

Naked

And unafraid

To be seen by all

In the whole widened world

To read and to be read

My loves

What's the point of it all?

To impress someone else?

Everyone else?

Not to say to give up

Ever

Nor forever

But you've got to do it all for yourselves

And for those of you who do and don't know any better

Than any other

Ever

Like any one else

Who's always left?
