That one soul.
That one person that have your back.
When family will let you down.

Might be that teacher.
Might be your preacher.
Might be that friend you have known through thick and thin.

When you glance around?
And realize those bloodlines are fair-weather types.
You see before you those you grow to love or like.

That one soul.
That one friend yes might be more.
But you come to respect and adore their support.

And that tear or more that rises in your eyes.
It's that one soul that advises you that you entitle to cry.
