The sun is out
And with no doubt
The sun is powerful today
It’s hot hot hot
But do you know what
A siesta this afternoon I’d say
Just cool down with a glass of ice
Pour in the water
That’s so nice
Walked the dog at 6 am
Before the ground got too hot
The dog, the guest dog and the two cats
Who also aren’t ours are all asleep
Keeping cool from the heat!
