Faces blur
time is not fair
the clock is not on
our side.

As memory increases
our skill at recalling
is in our ability to negotiate
through the passages where
time never ceases.

I barely remember
but
sometimes I do,
sometimes they manage
to get through and a light
is thrown on those things I
have known

faces still blur
but I know I am there
amongst them.
