Bring the night to me
as I die with no dignity
let me be covered in your darkness
free me from this broken body

How much more do I tolerate
how much pain must I go through
this is not my only way out
to escape from this life so cruel

I am owed so much money from people
that now I live in this finality of poverty
thank you my dear friends
as now you starve me to death

My heart does still beat
yet I am halfway to death
take me now whilst so weak
bring the night to me

You know I have broken this one
and I rather need a new body
so on my bended knees I plead
I beseech you to bring the night to me
