Studies
I sat with you
Among the books
That are filled with
Words unspoken.
Concentrating
On your studies,
I couldn't help
But stare at you
And secretly
Wish that you would
Look up at me
And study me
In the same way.
And then you did,
Making me blush
As you remarked
On my speech and
My new hair part.
Noticing at
Times I can't deal
With people and
Telling me that's
More than ok.
But even if
You neglected
To notice me,
I really think
That would be fine.
Because I'd still
Be completely
At liberty
To study you.
