A love I held, a love I kept,
I wanted fire, a burning grace,
A mirrored passion in your face.

I offered all, a boundless sea,
And waited for that reciprocity.
But silence met my yearning plea.

I shouldn't have to spell it out,
We could have soared, beyond all doubt.
worked so ******* this.
