The stores fill themselves
loaded with every want
anyone ever had
I walk thru to buy cat food
for my dogs
here come the mirrors
and I can't help myself
even tho my looks have faded
there's still enough of me left
to be friends with
then a kindly voice says hello
from where I'm not quite sure
then little debbies call my name
but I pass them anyway
there's so much I need
but this lonely store
loaded with every want
anyone ever had
offers me nothing
I grab my cat food and go
