It's up for debate
Parliament sitting late
but the horse has bolted
and
it's too late to shut the gate.

They talk, but we know
that they blow hot air
they don't really care
it's time for that lot to go.

Monday and time to pay for your weekend
bleary eyes?
call in sick, tell the boss lies

not me
I'm as fresh as a daisy,

skeletal because I worked my fingers
to the bone, got home,
had a glass of wine,
and time to sleep,

now, I have a day free, which doesn't come
with terms and conditions.

She
may have other ideas.
