Sever synapses
Themselves
Or take heed
That deep frying
The circuitry
Amplifies
Greed
In a world
Where monopolists
Still rig the game
And their brands
Build the boardwalks
And jails
To detain
In a blackout
Of hunger
And thirst
To reclaim
A more clarified sense
Of exigency’s
Belly
When starved for attention
Like some
Megyn Kelly
But ultimately
We’re all *******
And warring
And boring
Ourselves
To a blissful
Oblivion
Entering
Wealthy
Or peasantry
Synonym
Judged before
Faced with eternity
Swimming in
One cataclysm
More costly
Than last
If we still fail
The basic exams
Of the past
