Maybe you’ve flirted
With funeral
Widows
Perhaps even mirrored
Their bleak
Weeping willows
But pillows have ways
Of prescribing more pill woes
And roses
Can’t say
Where the amorous
Thrill goes
And those of us
Willing to
Vow to take part
Should take heart
In unduly
How truly
We mark
The occasions
As often
As coffins
And ravens
Engrave them
And to our most
Sordid devices
Enslave them
