I say your name on repeat like a spell,
I beg God in prayer for help.
I cry out to the universe to send you a sign,
I write in stars and constellations of mine.

In sweet fire, harsh blood, and delirious sweat,
Our futures combinedβ€”our love is set.
Even now, in your silence so cold,
I still dream of being with you when I'm old.

Maybe that is my cross to bear,
Because love is giving, and mine is theirs.
I will live forever in our gentle twilight,
I will love you kindly, profoundly, eternally...
You are worth the fight.
