There was once a woman
So brave! So very strong!
She was Charlotte Atlas
She didn't think it wrong
To ridicule other women
Much "weaker" than her.
She held up a spinning globe
She was tough,  yes sir!

She was ahead of everyone!
Independence was her plan
She didn't want a helpmate
She could do without a man.

There was a second woman
A weaker body was her fate
But she leaned upon the arm of
The one who was her mate

And last there was a crippled one
Beaten down all her life.
She was undistinguished
Never was a wife.

But she used no crutch
Took on no way of ease
She took a winding rocky road
And did so on her knees.

Which is the first woman
In heaven's vast estate?
If you've read your Bible
You'll know which one is great!

Matthew 20:16
New International Version
16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last"

1 Corinthians
26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth
27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
