When your tears fall each night,
You can't help but sit and cry.
You know you've messed up once again.
When you smile but it cracks
Yet nobody seems to see
The fact your wall is breaking down again.
You spent so long hiding
Your real smile has gone
Replaced by this fake faded smile.
Now I'm only one person
But that should be enough
To make you see I'm barely hanging on.
I'm tired of holding on
My strength is fading fast
I'm not sure how long I'll make it.
When your tears fall each night
You've forgotten how to smile
Your not even sure you've got a place to go.
Just know I'm not the only one
Who feels this way.
My strength has gone
I'm so close to the edge...
