After dark the brightness from the sky
Opens up so wide light beams through
It took so long for the moon
To make a mark night is here
In all the years the moon shines
Later in the evening, I stare at the stars
I look up in the sky?
Can you see the moonshine?
Millions miles away from mars
After dark I stare
Moonshine so bright
Can you see the brilliant light?
I don’t want this night to end
Moonshine won’t you stay?
Maybe for another day
Moonshine
