Jesus, like you help us love,
So the world's a better place:
Times when life is depressing,
Give our hearts a warm embrace.

When life is full of sorrows,
And is full of agony:
Lift us up in times like these,
And  put our minds more at ease.    

Your Father's will help us know,
His commands help us follow:
Jesus, help us love like you,
In holiness help us grow.                  

Help us be meek and gentle,
This request we ask of thee:
Humble, Jesus, help us be,
The truth, help us clearly see.

Help us to be courageous,
At times when we're made fun of:
Not returning an insult,
Instead responding with love.
