spring is here, with each new year
flowers bloom, fragrance they exhume

the air gets warm, bugs will swarm
picnic so grand, it could be planned

flowers in her hair, smooches everywhere
our sodas clink, and in a blink

days fly by fast, I wish they'd last
our time together, should last forever

soon it will be summer, what's another
time well spent, you're a present
