Silently I sink into loneliness. An
age-old cycle finds its way back
into my life. The thought of
“us” returning to “me” causes tears
to flood my heart. A sinking
feeling jerks me to fall. I pick up
the pieces of “me” lying in a dusty
old cupboard. Slowly I wipe off
years of hurting. I restore my soul.
And I’ve built the puzzle halfway
through. But one piece is missing
YOU!
