No matter the height or depth

Of things or what comes before

Or what comes after that

Or how the statue or

How low are the valleys of life?

Love changes things.




Yes, love changes everything

From my socks to my shoes

To my under wears to my shirt

And everything from head 2 toe

To life and death

Or whatever becomes

Or whatever is after

Love changes things.



And if I need you---

And if I need you and you just change on me

At any time or any place

Then I know a change

Yes, a change has come

In fact, if it’s up and went

And then it’s gone!



If the weather goes from sunny days to cloudy days,

And storms blow

Then I know you’ve changed

I don’t know for good or bad

But I know that love changes things.


You’ve changed

From cloudy to sunny then  

Back to sunny then cloudy

Like a fair weathered friend

Turning on and off their feelings

Like a light switch.
