The Apogee Man
Sees all humanoid clan
Ataraxia
Rooted in
Arable land
Gains his prominence
Earns it
From sharing his keep
Reaps the spoils
He snatched
From the jaws of
Elite
Not in coasting
On daddy’s warbucks
Here to Gaza
Not slaughtering kids
For a lucrative plaza
Not selling out allies
Betraying ideals
Not in lying so much
He forgets how it feels
What it means
To be truly
Mandated to lead
What the doctrines demand
He must fairly concede
