The average American has dark hair
And blue eyes looking at the soul they bear

The average American has an arm like the darkest night sky
The other looks like snow my oh my good bye

The average American has one leg like the dust of the Grand Canyon
And a stomach that’s Mexican

Through the veins of this human, red and white stripes flow
And in his brain sparkle 50 stars

And one American heart that connects all these parts
