I believe in you God
Oh loving and powerful
But the Bible feels wrong
It feels shameful

I wouldn't say I'm atheist
Because I believe in the One
But I wouldn't say I'm Christian
Though I do believe in his son

I'm confused on where I stand
Or if I even do
But through all the confusion
I still believe in the one and only you
