On the titanic
When it sunk
I was in middle class
Sleeping in
a cold bunk.
People screaming
But could not
Hear a thing
The music played
On with  that woman
Who couldn’t sing,
In my room sat
My ghost upon a shelf
Being scared full of dread
I had been hallucinating
I’d been drinking
and wet the bed.
