People are fractured
or broken
in parts
of themselves only
but not in totality:
they can resurrect
in future time
though painfully-

we are each tested
in the crucible
to extremity
that's cast
upon on us
by destiny-

we are broken
or fractured
but weathering
through the worst
we rise
in utmost courage
and  dignity
