And the dizzier you get
don't try to stand in defiance
Of all those things you'll soon forget

The baggage that we come with
Doesn't dictate who We are
Unless you try to carry it forever
No matter how far…

…You want to go in that direction
You want to reach up and touch the star
Add it to your collection
Of Bright lights trapped in a jar

You can't turn a Grand illusion
Into a bygone memory
Without acknowledging the confusion
That surrounds you as far as you can see

Let It Go and slip from your hand
Dont look behind you and try to keep track
Of any footprints left in the sand
to help you find your way back

You won't need any signs to help you
To reach those lights ahead
Just leave your past in the rearview
And carry your future along with you…
…Along with you instead.
