Hopeless lies deep
in the heart of loved enemies
I cry
My sorrow so unnoticed
for hurt chaotic souls

With tender eyes
and lips that heal
I pour open hands into dying life
well fixed into stone

I long for
Friends of compassion
Real and thoughtful hearts
but my depth is considered annoyance
My skies to broad
for understanding

My world so corrupt
I want to save spirits and not
become middle human

I desire what is good
to be known, unheard
And slowly sinking down
muck stains my tears

So I say
where does truth slumber?
Why are we weak
to know strength?
God help this empty place
To be full of your love
Your love can save
hopeless I'm sure
