Three years have passed, yet I still find myself tracing
The way we slowly slipped apart, without even a sound,
It wasn’t loud, or angry, just soft and silent,
Like two lost stars drifting farther from their orbit,
No goodbye, no last embrace, just an endless pause,
As if we both silently agreed to let it all dissolve.

I haven’t let go, I haven’t learned how to forgive,
The weight of it all sits with me, heavy and unshaken,
I carry the pieces of things unsaid, undone,
Like an unfinished song that still echoes through my mind,
No closure to offer, no ending to find,
Maybe one day I’ll understand or simply release it,
Or maybe, like us, the answers will fade with time.
