Poems
Jan 23
one night's first dance
I know
the feeling
of the
day surrendering
to the
night,
peeling back
coffin
embers from
the corners
of your
eyes,
that lie
estranged to
the memory
of light.
I have
slept between
the heaven
and earth
that lies
between each
breath that
you take,
and to
the vacant
black
crow's
night
we sing
in God's
perfect
harmony.
to awake
in the
morning
where
I am not
I nor you
are not
you.....
we are more..
