Because I've no need
       in my self-sufficiency
       nothing do I hanker after:
      I'm totally free-

     the plight of the billionaire
     comes immediately to my mind
     he's far from being satisfied
     no peace could he find-

a tiny cottage by the river-side
    the cleanest air I breathe
    with Mother Nature I converse
she has such valuable lessons to teach

   in time I patiently abide
waiting for the harvesting of my field
watching the smiles of my kids and my wife's
the greatest joy does this abundantly yield
