When we met, love and lover were one,
Pleasure and nights made us whole, undone.
Kisses, touches, and laughter spun,
Adventure calledβany day, any sun.
Past loves faded like fleeting dreams,
Better lovers and their clever schemes.
Some were great, the rest forgot,
Skills I held, yet never taught.
At first, love seemed more than enough,
But going steady grew too tough.
Once or twice, it felt so right,
Yet never stayed beyond the night.
Random suitors caught your eye,
Pretty faces, clever lies.
A faster pace, brighter skies,
But never truth in who or why.
Yet through the storms, we held our ground,
Through loss and pain, a spark was found.
The years reshaped what love could mean,
A rediscovery, bright and keen.
Your hand in mine, we start anew,
Old hearts refreshed, both tried and true.
The paths we walked brought us apart,
