Hereditary Hate
Everything we possess
has been passed down,
and lest we forgive, the
cells never let us forget.
Our DNA will remind us-
and GPS always locates
the where and when, but
why can not be resolved.
Time erodes nothing, the
echoes of history continue
to reverberate, and silence,
is never longer than a minute.
