Trigger Warning⚠️

It’s beauty always fades
Is what someone often says
In an effervescent haze
Hiding their never ending pain
You’ve got to batten down the hatch
As days burn faster than a match
Then grab tight and give a pull
So that you become attached
No lofty expectations
No fleece covering your eyes
Just tremendous palpitations
Before you say goodbye
To the world of hypocrites
And you, yourself, are one
You can end it all just like your friend
Looking down the barrel of a gun
Send a bullet through your skull
End the monotonous delay
Call it out for what it is
Call a ***** a *****
Or stop playing the victim
Make your word your bond
Find something you like doing
Go out and look beyond
Don’t let obstacles dissuade you
Where there’s a will there is a way
Embrace determination
Why not start today?
