Starlight fell to Earth
melting into the grass.
It contemplated, burned
starfire light manifesting flowers.

Turned in it’s sleep
dark cosmic dreaming.
Brought to birth
as the seasons turned,
brief Summer flying

It unfurled,
starshine dying
into pearl,
as  the dog days burned
