Sitting, waiting, hoping
With my head in my hands
These little things in life
That no one understands
Your son
Your daughter
Your dog or your cat
The love you just lost
Looking at where they once sat
That empty space where no hole can ever fill
Recalling memories for a quick fix,
But no soul, could ever fit the bill

I still miss you
