Smiling mountain
Glistening tarn
Whistling wind
Wooden barn.
****** of crows
On muddy fields
Pecking heads as
The day builds.
Enigma of stone
Nature is born
Sun drenched days
On golden corn.
Watching skywards
For Birds of prey
Bluebells dancing
While animals play.
Tuneful starlings
Thousands in flight
RaucousΒ Β of noise
Beauty in sight.
Dogs walking
Ramblers talking
Pastures smile
Crooked stiles
Lovely thoughts
So
Stay awhile.
Day is folding
Into night
Wildlife slumber
Into fading light.
Morning breaks
On another day
Tarn still glistening
As nature plays
Happy mountain
Soaking up the sun
Countryside dreaming
So much fun.
