snow was falling from up the heavens her tongue filled with snowflakes leaving a chilly surprise in her mouth unlike the her peers who adore this season she despised it with all her heart but when her peers asked “why didn’t you just stay home then?” she couldn’t give a answer one day she was walking in the snow every step she made she started to whine complaining about how the snow was pulling her down to the deeps of the earth the cold breeze didn’t help either slapping her face back and forth with chills but the last thing she want to do was go back to where she escaped from so she took a liter from her jacket and lit a cigarette to her mouth the smoke release from her lips gently silencing the breeze for only a moment she continued on her walk when she reaches her destination streetlights were shining like ornaments hanging on a Christmas tree for a second she admired them until she heard a honk sound she enters into her taxi then look at window with tired eyes “So where are you going to ma’am?” the taxi driver asked “Somewhere warm, or maybe somewhere far away, just a place that isn’t home” she replied with an empty smile
