If I should love less
than I should
I would be unworthy
of your love -

chide me, leave me
tarry do not
from your memory
just wipe me off

millions of suitors
are at your very door
look away from me
I'd but make you sore

If I should love less
than I must
how could I be
the lover you should trust?
