I love you
You love me
Let’s go on
A killing spree
Rob some banks
Nick there money
Shoot up the feds
When the days
Are sunny.
Life upon the
Open road
Committing
Outrageous crimes
Getting lots of write ups
Inside the New York Times.
We robbed a bank in Tulsa
Killed a judge in upper state
People adored us
They thought we were great.
Feds they chased us
Back and forward
Over county lines
We were still making
Headlines in the New York Times.
Banks were robbed people killed
Then one day our fate was sealed
In a massive shoot out with the feds
Me and Bonnie ended up quite dead.
