Dec 11
Exaltation has a cost
That I cannot afford
Christ was lifted on a cross
He wore a crown of thorns

Silent to the slaughter
He opened not His mouth
He didn't fawn for favour
Or fight to prove Himself

Now, He turns to us and says,
"Come, sit here next to Me
When you take the lowest place
You're in Good Company."
